After looking on here for some ferrules (ends) for my crutches, and seeing a lack of flexible tip ones… I delved into TinkerCAD and made some of my own.
There are two varieties, and two versions.
V1 - the initial design. V2 - thicker around the stick, made after some testing.
There is a basic ferrule, and then a tri tip for extra stability.
Printing:
I printed mine with Flashforge Flexible PLA, but I can imagine these would also go well in TPU or other harder flexible filament.
Diameter of stick hole is 25mm, so scale up or down as needed. My crutches are actually 22.2mm across.
Edit: Highly recommended to use a metal washer in the ferrule, to prevent undue wear and early failure of the ferrules and therefore damage to the ends of your crutches!
These should be ok to print without supports, but some printers may want you to add a brim for bed adhesion. *laughs in TPU over-adhesion*
