The holes to mount the metal backplate included with the access point are sized for threaded insert M3*5.7*4.6
The mounting holes fit M4 screws.
The latch on top allows to use the release tool that comes included with the access point to release the access point from the backplate.
You will need to use a 90 angled UTP cable.
There are 2 closed versions with different ‘depths’ (32mm and 40mm) to accommodate different UTP cables.
The UTP cable I used in the 32mm model extrudes 20mm from the access point. For the other access point I have a different cable which extrudes almost to 30mm from the access point.
I created the open back model to reduce the depth of the mount to 37mm, but I have yet to print it myself.
Prints fine without supports. Print time is 6-7 hours depending on the nozzle size (I used a 0.6mm nozzle).
