A few of these can keep your garden cage from flying off your raised garden beds in a stiff wind.
I designed this hinged mounting bracket with a swivel-locking clasp so we could mount our new garden cage to a couple of aging raised garden beds on our porch. The garden beds have a few more years of good use left in them, but they have seen better days, so I designed the brackets to be attached with screws to the garden bed in a way that the garden cage can be removed for winter without unscrewing and detaching the brackets from the raised beds' side rails. Repeated cycles of mounting and unmounting the brackets from the garden beds would speed the need to replace the garden beds, so I'm hopeful this approach will help us get as many years as we can out of the garden beds. Fingers crossed, the squirrels will not get all of our tomatoes this year now that we've invested in the cage.
