  1. Place Frame on paper and hold it in place (either by hand or using magnets)
  2. Stamp the first colour (start with the lightest) using the frame to allign the stamp
  3. Switch the stamp and continue stamping the other colours
  4. Done!

What is included?

Following parts are included:

Essentials:
  • Handle.stl
  • Spring.stl (optional, locks the stamps in place when on handle)
  • Frame-top.stl
  • Frame-bot.stl (not needed, if frame is held by hand)
  • Stamp-Emoji-XXX.stl (23 different sets, check image below to choose)
  • Stamp-Blank.stl / .step (if you want to design your own stamps)
Storage / additional parts:
  • Stamp-Holder.stl
  • Stamp-Box.stl (fits one set of 3 stamps)
  • Frame_LxH.stl (different sizes fitting up to 25 sets of stamps)
Also needed:
  • Ink pads (yellow / red / blue / black)
  • Magnets Ø6mm (not needed, if frame is held by hand)

Print settings

Print all the parts in the standart orientation. Everything can be printed without supports, but maybe consider using them anyways when printing the stamps (details below).

Stamp:
  • For printing the stamps I tried PLA, ABS and PETG. PLA and ABS worked great after sanding the stamps flat. Using PETG I had the feeling that the ink wouldn't stick to the stamp well enough. Flexible filaments should work too, I haven't tried that yet.
  • Although this part can be printed without supports, I recommend using them anyways. The rough surface (from bridging) doesn't match to good with the spring-lock.
  • Make sure that Print Settings > Advanced > Perimeter generator is set to Arachne.
Spring:
  • I recommend printing the spring with PETG

Assembly

Spring:
  • Push the spring into the slot of the handle as shown below. It should click in place.

Frame:
  • Insert two Ø6mm magnets into the top and bottom frames. Check the orientation of the magnets, so the two halves stick together.

If you don't have access to the required magnets you can alternatively hold the frame by hand.

Box:

Only if you want a paper label on the boxes (see picture below, left side)

  1. Stamp the emoji as usual
  2. Before removing the frame, mark the outline with a pen
  3. Cut your label along the line and insert it into the prepared slot
