Witcher Old World skill dices

Designed for The Witcher: Old World board game, this is a full set of custom skill dice that replaces the original wooden cubes. Each die has a raised outer frame and an engraved symbol on top, representing one of the five core skills from the game.

Included Symbols:

🔰 Chevrons: Level 
🗡 Pentagon: Combat
🛡 Shield: Defense
⚗ Circle: Alchemy
♦ Rhombus: Special Skill
 

Additional:
Shield for the base game to track current shield level.
Mage Circle to use with the Mages expansion.

All the dice are combined in the skill_dices.3mf file, pre-arranged for BambuLab slicers.
If your slicer doesn’t load it correctly or you’re using a single-colour printer, you have two options:

Option 1: Cut each die at 7 mm height into two separate objects and print the top part in a different colour.

Option 2: Add a filament swap or pause at the 7 mm layer to change colour mid-print.

🖨 Print Settings:

Works perfectly with a 0.4 mm nozzle

Recommended layer height: 0.2 mm

Use ironing for a smoother top layer on symbols (optional)

Print speed: 50–60 mm/s for best detail on small features (default settings work too)

Supports: Not needed

I had a bit of a challenge getting the base shield shape to look smooth. The final print comes out looking great, but the model itself has a lot of surface artifacts and masks that I’m not entirely happy with. I created it using a mix of AI tools and OpenSCAD, so it’s a blend of several different attempts.
If you're able to improve or clean it up further, I’d love to see a better version!
