The links are 9" wide by 1.5" tall, and you can easily print as many plates as you need to cover a shirt. It took about 10 runs to cover the front of an apron.
The links are easy to link together into a pattern to fufill your needs.
After assembly, you can sew or hot glue the links to a backing. This is actually fairly comfortable to wear, feels like a compression garment.
