Cervical Dilator Prop for Clinical Simulation

This 3D-printable set of cervical dilator props was created by Elizabete Kenina at the Medical Education Technology Centre of Riga Stradiņš University (RSU METC) for use in clinical simulations and gynecology training workshops, such as the Papaya Workshop format (https://papayaworkshop.org/).

🔍 Purpose & Use

Cervical dilators are essential tools in gynecological teaching, yet they are often expensive or unavailable in training settings. This printable set provides a safe, cost-effective, and reusable alternative ideal for:

Hands-on student training in simulated setting
Simulation with papaya or anatomical uterus models
OSCE preparation

📦 What’s Included

A range of cervical dilators in gradually increasing sizes
Easy-to-print models with minimal post-processing

⚠ Note: Models with very small diameters may be slightly flexible or bendy, depending on your material and print settings. However, most of the set prints and functions excellently for educational purposes.

🎓 Educational Validation

This set has been successfully used at RSU METC (Latvia) in multiple “Papaya” workshops.
