This model is intended for use with Down Range, a tabletop wargame focused on fast-paced, tactical-level combat and teaching players about the use of emerging technology in modern warfare.
The model is for the USMC JLTV unit, and includes three STLs:
- The JLTV itself
- An M2 (.50 cal) machine gun turret
- A cap for the turret mount if no turret is installed.
The 3mf file has all of these with pre-painted supports.
While developed initially to print on a Prusa Mk4 printer, this model has been tested on Prusa Mk4, Mk4S, Core One, and XL printers using PLA filament without issue, and should work with most other manufacturers' printers. You may need to experiment with settings if you're printing in another material.
For the best balance between quality and print time, I recommend using an 0.2 mm layer height with organic supports, and leaving the other settings as the default for your printer.
