Printed the original model and started fitting it to my new backpack. Quickly realized that the ends of the straps where folded thick and sewn together. They simply didn't fit in the hole of the strap holder.
I liked the design of it a lot, and realized that if I replaced the “hole half” with the “clip half”, so it got two open clips, I would get the functionality I needed.
Print in PETG for flexibility. I used 3 walls and no infill, and that seems to work fine. If the open end of the clip sticks too hard to the rest, reduce the flow on the outer walls a couple of percent. Might need to loosen it with a careful twist of a screwdriver or similar after print.
