There are several designs for AMS lite adapters, but I wanted to create my own based on my personal preferences. Maybe you'll find it useful too.
What I wanted to achieve:
- Lightweight: Uses less filament, resulting in a weight of ~66g.
- Secure Mounting: Features a locking mechanism with a recess in the main body. You'll hear a satisfying click when the filament is inserted correctly. It can be used in both orientations, but it's more secure if you position the recess on the inner side.
- To be easy to use. It features a straightforward screw design.
- It supports a wide range of spools, accommodating spool inner diameters from 63mm to 90mm and a maximum spool width of ~85mm (Don't worry if the screw hangs over the edge; it will still work perfectly.).
Both PLA and PETG works.
