IoT button with the shape of the Grafana mascot Grot. Uses a esp32 c3 super mini and a cherry mx key.
What to print?
- One of each file.
- The top part needs supports (for the grot visor).
- Make sure to position the housing with the flat face down (it might be backwards)
- The 3mf file has already everything in the right order
Additional hardware
- 1 cherry mx switch (or any compatible version) I bought some cheap clones from Aliexpress. I recommend blue for the satisfying clicky sound. (clones go for as little as 10 units for 2€)
- 1 esp32 c3 super mini. (Usually less than 2€ in aliexpress) [1]
- 1 jumper wire (you'll have to cut it)
- Soldering supplies
- Super glue

[1] Beware: some aliexpress vendors will sell you an old version of the esp32 c3 super mini with a broken antenna design which forces you to use low power antenna. The button firmware has a way to deal with this but better make sure to buy from a reputable vendor.
