I am a person who needs to wear glasses to live. The original Nikon viewfinder hood easily touches my glasses lenses, which makes me look at the viewfinder from a distance, which is not comfortable. So I designed this hood, which greatly reduces the distance between the viewfinder and the glasses lenses, and is very friendly to users who wear glasses.
