This is a LabStack Raspberry PI module with a slot for external Orico branded M.2 ssd enclosure.

There's two rotating hands keeping the ssd from falling off from the slot when moving things around, it has a quite a bit of tolerance so it's not a tight fit.

Printing

Print the main part upside down, no supports needed. For PETG I used 100.5% scaling

the small hands have a bevel so they can be printed upside down to get a nice surface finish

Parts

for the arms I've used

  • 2 x M3 8mm hex socket bolts (min 6mm, longer can be used as well)
  • 2 x M3 nyloc nuts

for mounting the rpi I enlargened the pcb mounting holes to m3 and used

  • 2 x M3 5mm hex socket bolts

and manually drilled and tapped the print holes to match. You can also use the regular 2.5mm and they should self tap to the print as it is made in the original model.

for the SSD
