A novelty pen, styled after a bathroom plunger.
The stylus refill fits perfectly into the handle, and the assembled pen sits in the top of the plunger “cup”.
Tips:
- Because it prints vertically, the stick is easily snapped while handling. Slip the refill in for added stiffness before trying to sand it.
- Don't press too hard to get the pen to write - it might snap the top off the stick.
- Print the “Test set” first, to verify that the print scales correctly with your choice of slicer settings and filament.
- Print at the filament's highest temperature and a thick layer setting, to optimize layer bonding strength.
- Designed for Cross pen refill part no. 8518-4
Challenge:
- Try printing the cup in a flexible filament. See if you can get it to suction itself in-place, like "the real thing”.
