Hello,
Roadmap:
- Top and Bottom panels
A few days ago, I uploaded a design for a 10" rack for network devices (https://www.printables.com/model/1290994-easyrack-10-rack-for-network-devices).
However, I wanted to create something larger, so I took some time to modify the original files.
Today, I'm excited to share with you the first version of the 19" rack.
If you've already printed the 10" rack and want to upgrade it to the 19" version, you’ll only need to download 4 files and print them in parts.
You will need to print:
- 4x EasyRack_19_Part_1 and EasyRack_19_Part_2
- 2x EasyRack_19_1U_StabilityPanel_Part_1 and EasyRack_19_1U_StabilityPanel_Part_2
Additionally, you will need:
- 4x 10x10x483mm aluminum profiles
- Some glue (preferably two-part epoxy)
Assembly instructions:
- After printing, place some baking paper on the table to protect the surface.
2. the two parts to be glued together (Additional - cover magnet holes using some tape).
3. In the 'U'-shaped channel, apply and mix the two-part epoxy glue. I used Q-tips for this step.

4. Insert one of the profiles into the channel and press it down firmly by hand.
The channel height is 12.15mm, so the 10mm profile won’t be flush with the wall. Make sure to push it in as deep as possible.

5. Repeat the process for the remaining three profiles.
6. Insert M6 heat-set inserts (the same as used in the 10" version) into the bottom holes for the feet.
7. To attach the stability panels, simply insert M6 heat-set inserts and screw the panels together.

After that just unscrew old EasyRack_TopLogoLinkage / EasyRack_TopBackLinkage. Leave all side panels and 3U/6U rails. Then screw down new 19" version.

Print settings:
- Layer height: 0.2 mm
- Walls: 4
- Infill: 15%
- Support for any object with magnets, elements in the air. After importing the files, they should be automatically positioned correctly. However, if you're not using Bambu Studio, please double-check before printing. In Bambu Studio, if you import the entire project file, all objects will be correctly positioned.
- Material:
- Recommended PETG / PETG-CF for higher heat resistance (e.g., network switches, firewalls)
- Not-Recommended PLA for devices that generate less heat (e.g., Raspberry Pi, controllers)
