Hi,
at my work we have a drying cabinet to temper (dry) PCB's and PCBA's. The space inside it is limited but in high demand. So I made these little spacers to allow stacking of our standard ESD-PCB-Trays (352x252) to get more storage space, especially for small PCBs and electronic components.
my print settings:
- filament = M4P ESD PETG (black)
- 0,3 mm layer height @ 0,4 nozzle
- 4 perimeters
- 15% gyroid infill
- solid layer: 3 top & bot
- supports: yes, see pictures
- print orientation as in the pictures
BOM (for one tray):
4x Screws M5x20
4x nuts M5
There are 2 versions in the file.
The part “Spacer-1 (with Supports)” >> here you might need supports inside the hex hole.
Spacer-1 (with sacrificial Support Layer) >> only supports at the bottom necessary. The hex hole has a sacrificial support layer. Just push a screw through after printing.
Material must be PETG or better. PLA is not heat resistant enough. Our drying cabinet runs at 60°C and 3% humidity to dry our PCB's.
Print time total: about 2h and 57 gr. for me on my MK4 for a set of 4.
Happy printing!
