Introduction

Trans people all over the world have always had a tough time just being allowed to be themselves, but especially so in these times. Here's an easy way for CIS-people to show our support.

The colours should be self-explanatory, as well as the trans symbol. The pink part of this particular model is a stylised A, to symbolise ally-ship.

Since the A and symbol stick out from the disc on both sides, the model needs to be printed in parts (to make sure you get a nice and smooth surface on both sides of the disc). But if you have a multi-colour capable printer you can use the combined A/Symbol file rather than the separate files for those.

When assembled it gives the illusion of the ally-A and trans symbol sticking right through the outer disc.

Printing instructions

Designed to be printed with:

  • 0.4 mm nozzle
  • 100% solid infill

Print:

  • 1 copy of the circle (use grid supports to get an as nice as possible cutout on the underside, and use ironing to get a nice and flat top surface)

  • 2 copies of the A
  • 2 copies of the symbol, one of which needs to be mirrored
    or
  • 2 copies of the combined A/symbol, one of which needs to be mirrored

On the A and trans symbol, either use ironing on the top surface or turn them upside down when assembling the keyring (the combined A/symbol-file needs ironing, you can't turn it upside down when assembling).

Assembly

When all the parts have been printed, use glue to assemble the keyring.
