We started raising chickens, we bought some adult hens at auction, and the eggs started coming in fast. Needed a durable option. This was modeled to hold a store-bought Grad A Large egg. We have had a couple occasions that we got an egg from a chicken that did not quite fit. However, I would say we have a 95% or better rate of eggs fitting without issue. They do stack and hold solid. May be a little tight at first, but after a couple of times the fit is good.
I print these in the orientation they are saved in, with no supports, no brim. You will want bridging enabled. There is a small area (13.5mm) at the top of the bottom section that requires a bridge. They take approx 3.5 hours each at 300 mm/s. I print with Sunlu PLA 2.0 and have not had an issue with any cracking or breaking.
235MM X 208MM footprint.
ABSOLUTELY NOT DISHWASHER SAFE. MUST BE HAND WASHED.
No, the eggs in the pics have not been washed, IYKYK.
