I wanted something less complicated than the existing models I found to help me tame the CPAP beast noise levels. I came up with this idea that installs over the intake port inside the chamber (I built my Vz from a Mellow kit).
Requires no supports. I recommend printing in ABS, ASA, or PC at 0.2 layer height. PPA is also a great choice. You want a material that can withstand at least 70°C chamber temps to give you plenty of tolerance. I went with PC-CF since that is what I had on hand.
On the cap, you can do a right-click and 'Split into parts' (using Orcaslicer) and then apply color to the Vzbot logo if you want.
Once printed, I used M3x16 screws to replace the existing shorter screws that mount the CPAP.
I used a small wad of steel wool inside the inner most tube of the cap to help dampen the noise levels, but you can optionally omit this and still pick up a little bit of sound attenuation I think.

11/12/2025 - Added v2 of the Vz330 Muffler. This version has deeper & longer threads and the logo has been revised so that you can print it separately (in a different color for example).
