The square rods press fit into the corner retainers quite tightly. You can make it as tall as any tomato plant I have seen.
The press fit clearance between mating surfaces is 0.13 mm. If there is a small foot along the bottom of the rods, you will need to sand paper the corners, but the fit will be tight. To push a rod into the corner, I grabbed a vice grip to the near end of the rod, placed the rod into the corner and hammered the vice grip with the corner on the table. It's not easy to remove the rod after hammering.
I was pleased that the assembly did not experience a twisting failure. It's pretty stiff.
The four bottomvertical rods push into the dirt and are without corner pieces.
You can likely print 3 to 6 rods kitty corner on your printer at one time.
