My wife wanted something she could place her hanging flowers on during the day, that would keep the vines off the ground. This was designed to minimize plastic (to reduce print time and cost), and to be extendable, for when the flowers droop more. Pieces friction fit together, but you can use glue to strengthen it.
The stabilizers are optional – they add some rigidity to the stand, which is only really necessary if you are making it two columns tall (in which case, add one stabilizer to the bottom and one to the middle… – note picture only has one – I've since added another to the bottom).
