Switch 2 Dock Wall Mount (Screw-less)
4 Month Update: No sign of failure or other issues with regular use thus far.
A wall mount designed to work with the Nintendo Switch 2 dock, uses Command Strips (or similar) for hanging. Stand-offs and vent holes maintain necessary air flow for cooling of the dock. Cut-outs provide enough room for the necessary wires.
My Print Details:
- Basic PLA (consider a light wet-sand if needed for stand-offs)
- 3 Walls
- 20% infill
- No supports…
- …but if you orient it on its side (which in theory will result in better strength) you will need them (and it doubles the print time).
Use:
I used 3 large command strips, each trimmed just a bit. 3M rates each large strip for 5 lbs and mediums for 3 - the size of the trimmed ones to fit this print falls in between (and there is space for three of them). The data I could find indicates that the Switch 2 + dock comes out just over 2 lbs.
