We wanted a nice keychain for our son and stumbled upon this Angry Birds “Red” keychain by Thingiverse user m4r3k0001st. It seemed it even could be printed in colours! Almost.
So, at first, I made a remix. I placed the same colours to the same layer to enable layer-by-layer colour change.
After a few iterations I created my own version from scratch, as it was easier. I also made Chuck and Bomb, so that Red doesnt feel lonely.
How to print it:
These prints use layer-by layer filament change, enabling multicolour print using single extruder. All you need to do is change the filament, when your printer prompts you.
How to slice it:
Everything is ready to slice in the rescpective .3mf file, including preset layer change points. Just choose your printer, and keep the settings.
If you want to slice your own:
0.2 mm layer thickness, 4 perimeters recommended. Printed in PLA (mostly Filament PM and Prusament).
Colour change queue:
Red: red, black (2,2 mm), red (2,6 mm), white (3,00 mm), yellow (3,40 mm), black (3,80 mm)
Chuck: yellow, white (3,00 mm), orange (3,40 mm), black (3,80 mm), orange (4,00 mm)
Bomb: black, white (2,00 mm), black (2,60 mm), gray (3,00 mm), yellow (3,40 mm), orange (3,80 mm)
