Suffering from a loose pool liner that's hanging on by hopes and prayers? Yeah, you could drain the pool and straighten it, then go through the hassle and expense of filling it back up from nothing, but wouldn't you rather just clip it in place and get back to lounging?
This clip was designed as a quick and easy way to hold your beaded pool liner in the track in all those loose spots where it may be prone to falling out when the kids make waves and get a nice whirlpool going. A little peace of mind never hurts.
Other solutions require you to buy a really long length of liner lock, a wedge piece that you can cut to length, but normally goes around the full diameter of the pool. Instead, try a clip or two to secure that ONE spot that always droops.
Printing
- Orient the clip on its side to print with zero support
- Use PETG for the added heat resistance during harsh summer weather
Installation Tip:
- Make sure there isn't a lot of excess liner when you insert the clip
- Use a screwdriver or some other type of wedge to push the clip in hard, making sure it “snaps” into place in the track behind the bead.
Disclaimer:
This clip is meant for the DIY'er who needs a quick fix, definitely NOT a suitable alternative to having the liner installed properly to begin with. But it'll work in a pinch. While the rounded corners are meant so as to not rip your liner, I can not be held responsible if it does.
