Saw other tools that did not seem as durable, or simple- I decided to make this, as a project and to save money (cheapest was $37 on amazon from china 3 stars)
Items used and estimate pricing (rounded up to nearest dollar)
- 1x ½ iron plumbing pipe 12 inch. $7
- 1x M10x1 Bolt (for derailleur recommended to use grease as to not cross thread) $4
- 2x Matching M10x1 Nuts (for spacing) $2
Optional: (not necessary for model to work)
- 1x ¼ inch threaded rod 8 inch (could be anywhere from 4-8+ inches if needed/ found)(This can be printed,) $8
- 1x Matching M10 washers (I Printed mine) $2
- 1x Bolt Hand Twist Model (I found mine online, and resized for time saving)
- 1x ½ inch threaded bolt tip (to protect wheel from metal)
