I prefer to play Catan (3rd edition, 1997) with the Cities & Knights expansion, and I like to be ready to play with up to 6 players. I finally decided to ditch the baggies and upgrade to plastic boxes for organizing all of the components. I kept the base game components just in case.
Parts are designed to print in PETG with a 0.4mm nozzle and 2 perimeter wall thickness.
BOM
Most models have a box and a lid; print both of them. I'd recommend clear filament for the player piece boxes. The metro markers are intended to be printed in blue, green, and yellow and clipped to the metropolis pieces, to designate the politics, science, and trade metropolises.
