The sd.kfz 232, abbreviation of Sonderkraftfahrzeug 232 or special vehicle model 232, was an armored exploration car used by Germany in the 1930s and 1940s.

This model is the 8 rad version or 8 wheels, and just like the original it has all 8 wheels capable of steering in pairs of four.

To operate the steering, simply act on the spare wheel and the front and rear wheels will rotate, while the two central pairs will rotate less to facilitate steering. Note that the 4 front wheels steer in the opposite direction to the 4 rear wheels.

The most typical feature of these vehicles, and our model, was that the turret served as a support for the big antenna, this forced the addition of two L-shaped supports to the turret and a rotation ring on which the short arms of the antenna could rotate to allow the turret to rotate.

Print made entirely in PLA by layers of 0.10 and 0.20 depending on the size of the piece.

In addition to the PLA and a printer you will need about a meter of 1mm diameter wire to make the hinges of the opening doors and the stops of the steering system.

No further assembly instructions are available beyond those already provided given the simple assembly.
