This is my Kettle Kleaner.
Excuse the dirty bbq in the pictures, I get the irony. I'm just lazy.
Used to assist cleaning the bowl of a weber kettle, I use it all the time. I created it by recreating the bowl of a kettle in blender and then fitting the blade in to the bowl. Works horizontally and vertically, due to the grill tabs its not a single sweep type thing and you adjust the angle depending on the direction and and part your up to.
Theres a wide and narrow version, the narrow version has a much harsher angle progression and is also pretty good, I tend to use the standard one for the quickclean/first pass and then the smaller one when I'm doing a real good clean (not very often).
I have another version that has a recessed weber logo (weber kettle silhouette) but due to copyright I won't upload it, send me a message if you want it.
Please like this if you download so I can get the reward points, also i'm keen to see your makes. I designed this back in 2023 with the intent to sell it for a few bucks to cover printing consumables costs but never got around to it so have just been using around the house.
Print Settings:
Whatever really, I print most things in PLA as its low cost and theres usually alot of prototyping and revisions and then when i get to the final stage I stick with PLA until it fails and then I plan to reprint in something more durable.
The original prints of these in PLA and still going strong after a couple of years, the pictures actually has an earlier revision of the standard blade with different text/font on it. Its the final shape, but I changed the text. I have reprinted with the new text but I gave them to friends.
The lower the resolution the better for the actual blade edge, but its not really required. I printed in 0.2 and its fine but due to the angle the layer lines are very noticeable.
I would recommend printing on a smooth bed so you get a nice edge.
