This is a one-piece stand specially designed to support and display a kalimba. The inclined design offers both stability and visibility, making it a great addition to any music space or shelf.
Build Instructions:
Download and print the Kalimba Stand.stl file.
Once printed, simply place your kalimba on the stand. No assembly is required.
Optionally, you can smooth or paint the surface for a more finished appearance.
Print Tips:
Supports: Required, especially under the angled arms. Use tree supports or custom supports for easier removal and cleaner results.
Layer height: 0.2 mm
Infill: 15–20%
PLA works great, though PETG or wood-filled filaments can provide a more natural look.
Make sure your cooling is adequate to avoid sagging on overhangs.
