For storing compost scraps I bought the Brabantia Sort&Go garbage bin. However I needed some ventilation so the scraps won't smell and get moldy before I chuck them in my compost heap.
In the gap of the lid I've placed a fine mesh, but you could also print a fine mesh and glue it on the cover. The mesh cover has gaps for applying glue to fix it to the lid.
In Cura slicer I had to set ‘Minimal wall line width’ to 0.1mm to prevent gaps in the side walls of the base model.
