I created this Venturi applicator due to the need to apply sodium chlorate on the algae infested walls of the swimming pool in a higher concentration and in large quantities. It was not possible to use a classic sprayer, due to the production of toxic aerosol and inefficiency. The thicker tube is connected by a ½ inch hose to a water source with a pressure of at least 3 bars, the smaller one with 8 mm transparent hose to a container with the liquid you want to apply. At a pressure of 3 bars, the nozzle can suck 30% sodium chlorate to height of approximately 50 cm and the mixing ratio is 1:40. Increasing the water pressure leads to an increase in the suction force, but to a decrease in the mixing ratio. The hoop is used to attach the nozzle to the holder (any non-metallic stick with a diameter of 20 mm)
material: PET-G, PCT-G
resolution: 0.24 mm
