Variable sized thread storage for Gutterman reels with matching bobbins. For 1 - 12 reels. Alternatively you could just store all your bobbins in here.

It seems to cost about £3.90 for the box, and £1.30 for the lid, making the 10 box variant.

You can stack the boxes, but not with the lids on, so if you want multiples then print lots of boxes and one lid if you want to stack them.

IMPORTANT: When you print it will ask if you want to load as a single object having multiple parts. You MUST say yes (unless you want to print lots of single boxes, but I wouldn't;). Then it will all move as one object.

IMPORTANT: When the box and/or lid are loaded you will note that each has 12 parts. Delete the excess parts. You can print any number you want up to the included 12. If you want a second row please ask and I'll make that available as a model, as it would be very easy.

On my CoreOne I can print up to 10.

I have designed this so it should not need supports. Early designs had a flat underside instead of sloped, and it didn't work without supports. This has a slope so it will print, at least on a CoreOne, in PETG, without supports. Please feel free to print a 1 sized version of the box in your preferred settings and filament to ensure that it prints acceptably. This should cost about £0.50, though you can stop the print once the overhand has passed to reduce wastage. Also, if you're not using the Singer standard bobbins you may wish to print a couple of single boxes and a lid to ensure it all fits, if you're going to do a large print for a vast collection of reels and bobbins (lucky you)! Please ask for multiple row models.

PS I have made this, but only in one and two box versions to make sure it works. I had a competition with my partner for our first model design ever to see what each would come out with, and I think her version is pretty amazing! That has magnets, which this version doesn't have : https://www.printables.com/model/1359663-gutermann-standard-thread-bobbin-box-lid-with-view She also has a version for large reels.
