The Micromelon Domino Layer attachment, used to lay domino paths on the floor for toppling. Uses 51x25x8mm dominoes, and can hold up to 10. Showcase of the attachment is shown on our website blog at 'Design Blog: Domino Layer'.

What you need:

  • 2 x 180 degree servos with servo screw/horn kits
  • 2 x M2.5 8mm screws for servo horns
  • 1 print of each file
  • 2x M3 8mm screws

Assembly:

  1. Mount both of the servos to the respective servo mounts on the body as seen in the image.
  2. Trim the servo horns such that they fit into the slots in the 'Door' and the 'Servo Arm'. Connect the door and the servo arm to the servo using the horns and the M2.5 screws.
  3. Insert the 'Hammer' through the top of the attachment (where the 'Domino Barrel' sits), and connect one end of the free arm through the bottom using an M3 screw.
  4. Connect the other end of the free arm to the servo arm using the other M3 screw.
  5. Slot the domino barrel into the top of the attachment and load with dominoes

Operation: Refer to the attached blog to see how the attachment works. Visit other pages on our website to find out how to program the Micromelon Rover!
