Aliexpress link #1
Aliexpress link #2

  • Two 2.5GBps LAN ports

  • HDMI and DisplayPort interfaces

  • 5.5x2.5mm power connector, 12 to 24v, 3A minimum. You can use regular power supply for notebooks (19v, 4A+)

Expansion board:

  • AMS1166 PCIe-to-SATA bridge, 6 SATA-III ports (Bandwidth limited to PCIe 3.0 x2 ~2Gbit/s)

  • Two M2 2280 (PCIe 3.0 x2 each)

  • 3x 4-pin PWM connectors for fans (1.25mm pins)

Notes:

  • Fan connectors is a regular 12v PWM interfaces, but smaller in size. Just make "adapter" from "JST 1.25mm" connectors: Aliexpress

  • I use brass nuts for M3 bolts: Aliexpress (M3x4x4.2mm)

  • I ran out of black plastic, so I printed in green.

  • Expansion board have blue+red LEDs for indicate connection and disk activity. If you print HDD holders with transparent plastic (PETG) - you can see these lights.

  • All parts fits in 240mm printing bed.

  • Fans (x2) ID-COOLING NO Series [NO-8010-PWM] or any other 80mm 12v 4-pin PWM fans

TODO:

  • The rear wall needs to be redesigned: Add a "door" or move the mounts so that you can access the two M2 slots on the expansion board.
