Overview

This is a simple enclosure for the LilyGo T3 S3 development board. The T3 S3 is fairly inexpensive and popular ESP32 board with an onboard LoRa transceiver.

Printing

There's not much to worry about printing this model. The .3mf file includes both halves of the clamshell. Print the top face-down and the bottom as it is oriented in the file.

Assembly

You'll need some hardware to assemble the case.

  • (4x) M2 x ~6mm Cap Screws (example)
  • (4x) M2 x ~3mm Heat-set Inserts (example)

I used generic stuff I had purchased in a kit a while ago. There is a quite a bit of wiggle room on the length of the screws and inserts.

To assemble,

  1. Carefully set the four threaded inserts into the lower half of the case
  2. Line up the board on with the holes on the top part of the case, ensuring the the USB-C port is seated.
  3. Close the case and install the four screws.
