UPDATE 22.2.2022:
- added lock with honeycomb protection agains fingers (kids friendly) - inspiration here
Info:
- just like original (thanks for upload Mikolas Zuza!)
- added eyelet, so it can hang somewhere (like your neck for example)
- kids friendly
Print instructions:
- I have optimized the print via variable layer height (see 3mf), so it is quicker
- PLA
- use brim
Assembly:
- cut piece of plastics/shopping bag/vax paper
- The choice of the membrane material significantly affects the sound of the Kazoo. Really thin membranes will make the sound more intense with pronounced highs. Thicker membranes will make the buzzing sound deeper and a bit quieter.
- You will have to cut out a small circular piece from the membrane material. We suggest using the printed washer as a template to cut it out. Then you just put in the membrane, the washer and secure it with the printed nut.
- 1st put in the hole membrane
- 2nd washer aka circle (with smooth side down)
- 3rd lock nut inside
- not too tightly, actually it sounds best when not tighten
- Hum! not blow inside (blowing does not work)
