I designed these for my Wife's elementary school playground equipment bins, which are divided by grades k-6.
There are 6 STL's (200mm x 200mm) that can be printed as is plus the original OpenScad file that will allow you to create customized versions with new parameters. Parameters you can change include:
- Input (number or text that you want displayed on the sign)
- plate height
- plate width
- font size
- font
- hole placement
- hole diameter (set to 0 if you wish to not have holes)
The holes in the plates were designed to for zip ties to attach the signs to a metal wire equipment bin.
I printed these on my Flashforge Adventurer 5m which has a 220x220x220 mm build plate. If you have a smaller build plate you will likely need to scale these down or use OpenScad to make a custom size that fits your build plate.
Supports Not Needed.
To get the two color look I simply set my printer to pause at the appropriate layer height and changed out the filament from white to black to finish the print. To learn how to pause in Orca slicer this YouTube video is informative
