This is a filament spooler add on motor assembly I created to speed up operation on the popular Ebay listed item UPGRADED Universal 3D Filament Re-spooler/Transfer - Pre-assembled - Bambu Lab. (You can click to visit and see the item on Ebay). This is designed to fit ONLY this particular filament spooler due to location of drive and height requirements. Included are height spacer riser files to fine tune adjust the height as needed, as well as motor adapter sized for this spooler. A PDFparts list is provided with Amazon sourced items needed to complete the build and assembly. Assembly info provided in included PDF file. This was created using  TinkerCAD to design the unit, and printed using an Ankermake M5C 3D printer using PLA+ filament. Most parts printed using an infill of 20% and a GRID pattern with a 0.4mm nozzle at a temp 235C and bed temp of 65C. One exception to this is the part named Slide Adapter final which should be printed with a 100% infill for added strength. This unit will allow the user to control the speed from 0% to 100% using the motor controller specified and turn off or on the motor with a simple press of the button on the controller. The motor itself is rated at a maximum speed of 200rpm. A standard 12vdc wall wart rated at 2 amps is suggested in the docs to power the unit. and a 12vdc socket is used to input power. Need more info than what is provided, or have any comments or suggestions, PLEASE feel free to message me, happy to help out. Be sure to let the creator of the filament spooler know where you heard about their fine unit too. His name on Ebay is dopplerdave777.

Addendum #1: Added new design Slide Adapter to interface better with motor and spooler. It will allow for the easy removal and replacement of the take-up spool without requiring the removal of the motor unit, just slide it back and remove spool. Just be sure that when you install the motor drive unit you position it to allow for the slide action to work properly, and still engage fully with the motor and drive gear. See instruction sheet for assembling the type B slide adapter if used, else use Type A if using PLA+ filament. Use thin super glue for added strength for Type B. Just added Type C, which uses supports to allow the motor end of support to be printed sideways for added tensile strength and layer alignment. See Type C instructions too.
