I think this is the most needed upgrade for Elegoo Centauri Carbon as it is louder than other printers , especially when printing starts.
While this model looked promising, I wanted to avoid support as much as possible. After spending some time with print setting for the original model, I ended up dividing it to two parts with dovetail joints in Fusion 360.
I am satisfied with the smooth inside where the air would flows while confirming the joints fit perfectly. You will find slight difference as I optimized outer shape for better printing. My remix reduced support material to only 6.86g compared to 30+g usage for the original one. I later found the print time gain is not much compared to the original model printed upside down though.
The 3mf file has my print settings, while STL files are available if you prefer.
In addition, I found 6mm M3 screws worked better for me instead of the suggested 8mm ones.
Thanks to Pattersaurus for sharing the original model in Thingiverse.
