The Lockheed C-130 Hercules is a versatile military transport aircraft developed by Lockheed (now Lockheed Martin). First flown in 1954, it has become one of the most widely used and longest-serving military aircraft in the world. The C-130 is known for its ability to operate from short and unprepared runways, making it ideal for tactical missions, disaster relief, and humanitarian aid. It can carry troops, vehicles, cargo, and even perform aerial refueling or firefighting. Over 60 countries have operated the C-130, and its durability and adaptability have made it a legendary aircraft in military aviation history.
