This model contains two versions of a queen trophy. I designed it for a local chess tournament and turned out great!

Here take a look at my queen trophy design standing on an oscar-like base.

You have two choices:

  • Hollow body version
  • Normal (thick) version

I think the hollowbody looks better, but it may turn out to be a bit stringi. You can always easily remove stringiness with a bit of flame :D

NEITHER of the designs needs supports. For the hollowbody version your slicer may throw some faildetection messages at you because the underside of the crown, but dont worry, i printed it on an ender3. Any printer which is at least as great as an ender3, will do the job without supports.

Also the hollowbody versions crown is of course a bit more fragile, because the contact pads are a bit small with 100% size ratio, but still doable with a 0.4mm nozzle. At larger sizes it may become sturdier. The original size is 122mm tall.

I usually print them with 20% lightning infill (basically totally empty), but 4 walls. If you want a bit sturdier you can do 20% gyroid.

!!You can print this in one piece on most printers, just add a pause print in the slicer at the correct level, and switch filaments!!
