Multifunctional Mechanical Tarp Clip
- Durable Mechanical Tarp Clip for various usecases
- 3 parts + prefered eyelet
- Easily detachable supports
- Prints uder one hour (slow printing)
- Locks itself when closed
Common Uses:
- Securing tarps, tents, rain covers, and outdoor shades
- Fastening fabric or mesh without damaging it
- Hanging decorations or plants
- Temporary clothing clips - for ID tags, gloves, tools, or flashlights
- Mounting LED strips or fairy lights to fabrics or nets
- Suspenders (braces) - attaches firmly to pants or belts
- Pacifier holder - safe way to attach baby pacifiers via string
- Sewing and tailoring aid - hold fabrics together during stitching
- Quick DIY clamps for workshop or repairs
- Curtains clip
Print instructions:
- Import as ONE object and as a Project (Two parts already have Support Enforce)
- 100% infill, 0.10mm and slow print
- You can use any non-flexible filament, but I would reccomend PLA or PETG
Assembly guide:
- Clean all parts from printing shortcomings
- Redrill holes and eyelet socket with 3mm drill bit (or clean them)
- First, put lever part into the lower holes, set it in open position
- Gently put top part over the lever part (like lego)
- Now slowly push lever part down into closed position while pushing top part into upper holes.
- If they won't fit on first try, try wobbling with it until it snaps into the holes.
- As it snaps, everything is secure and won't fall apart easily.
- Eyelet goes straight into its socket on the end of the clip (shorter side if using flat eyelet)
Additional informations:
- Eyelet is 2.8mm in diameter
