I was trying to remove a Kangyue freewheel, and my Park Tool FR-1.3 didn't fit (just barely). So this one has slightly deeper spline cut outs and a tighter overall fit to minimize rounding over the printed tool when used with a 1" / 25.4mm socket or wrench. I was surprised it didn't break, even when with using a cheater bar. I hope this helps someone else out in a pinch.
Printing Tips:
- Use PLA
- 0.12mm layer height
- 6 walls / 100% infill
- No cooling (to maximize layer adhesion)
- You may need to scale or adjust horizontal expansion. On my X1C and the filament I used my printed part was ~0.3mm smaller than the model.
