In Strixhaven's chapter "A Reckoning in Ruins" there is a construct called a "Ruin Grinder" which dredges through the ruins. I wanted to try doing some hard surface modelling so spent a fair amount of time subdividing and tweaking cylinders and cubes to come up with this. This is my first stab at something large like this and setting up a very rigid armature to move like a robot. Definitely a ton of learning that I can roll into future models. It's not quite exactly like the reference photos but definitely takes a lot of inspiration from that.
This is a large construct so I have it about 50mm tall (~10ft) on a 50mm baseplate.
