Both the Vixen and Dovetail Output Plates required an M8 Nut for securing the output clamp/device. This adapter allows an M6 to be centered in the M8 hexagonal hole and captures the M6 nut to prevent it from falling out. This allowed the Vixen clamp I already owned to fit the original output plate.
I used a drop of superglue once press fit in to ensure it would stay in place during installation.
