I found this cheap PC shell for switch 2 on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F2TC6QWB?th=1 that protects the body and joycon, makes it safer to carry around. But one thing I don't like is it leaves the screen open, so you would still need to keep switch in a case with padded compartment.
So I made a screen cover that would clip onto switch 2 installed in this PC shell. With this screen protector on, it makes it safer to store switch2 in bags that was not designed for it.
There are 2 versions:
- Switch2_shell_screen_cover provides full protection, including the side where the joycon was meant to connect to. If you are using different controller with switch and normally don't attach joycon on consle, this version gives better protection
- Switch2_shell_screen_cover_wo_side only covers the screen, and allows joycon to connect to the side.
Print it standing up, with the side on the bed. For the version with side you will need to use tree support.
Recommend using transparent PETG, so you can easily tell if the console is still powered on with the cover installed
