I found some Rubbermaid Fast Track rails at a local ReStore a while a go for a good price. But they didn't have any hardware, and after going to Lowe's and seeing they were $15-25 apiece I decided I could make my own.

I copied the profile pretty well and after a few prototypes and test fixtures I'm pretty happy. The factory FastTrack branded hook is usually rated for 25lbs or 50lbs for the very expensive ones. I have tested all my hooks up to 100lbs! I think the rail and other parts are going to deform or break before these do, so don't worry.

Now I'm not a very aesthetic design and these are definitely blocky, but they work. I put all the files, profiles, and some drawings in here in case you guys wanted to make your own custom hooks.

The picture I put up of are the hooks in use, they have been in use for over a year in an non-air-conditioned garage holding 10-40 pounds with no problems. I'll admit the "modular" forked double hook ones probably needs a redesign, but the simple hooks are great.
