This stop block is inspired by the John Katz-Moses Universal No Deflection Stop Block, but I added a hinge mechanism to allow for a quick way to get it out of the way without undoing your length of cut setup. I'm very happy with the result, and after a bit of testing I have found it to be quite sturdy as it has not moved on me during regular use. You can fine-tune your cuts using the micro-adjustment feature, which offers 2 cm of movement.
To assemble it you will need:
- 4 M4 nuts
- 1 M4 50mm screw
- 3 M4 15mm screws
The tolarances were desinged for a press fit with the nuts, but your print may vary.
I have also included a T-track slider compatible with ¾ inch T-track, if you print this, you will need 2 extra M4 nuts.
I also used the following thumbscrews: https://www.printables.com/model/441885-knurled-m3-m8-thumbscrews-no-support
