This is a direct replacement for the wheels on Pelican model 1650 or 1660 cases. It reuses the original bearings and shaft from the case.
Two models are provided:
- The “spoked” model has internal spokes and should be printed with 3 perimeters and zero infill.
- The “solid” model has no internal geometry if you want to use your own infill pattern.
I have found that random seam position results in a wheel that rolls more smoothly. You can see in the photograph that the aligned seam position makes a small bump that is noticeable when rolling the case.
No supports required in either model. I have used both PETG and ASA for the wheels on my two cases.
