To allow the HyperX QuadCast S to fit under my monitors without blocking the screen I needed it to be mounted horizontally instead of vertically. I created this adaptor to go in between the base and the microphone to rotate it by 90 degrees. This model should not need any hardware that did not come with the microphone.

The model is for the microphone to point left but if you want it to point the other direction just mirror the model in your slicer. If you don't then the microphone will be more wobbly.

I recommend printing in the orientation of the model (don't rotate it) using basic supports. I used PLA in a 0.4mm nozzle and with a 0.2mm layer height (although a smaller height would probably be better). You will need to print two copies of the model.

Once everything is printed you can disassemble the microphone by unscrewing it at the back. The bolt might need to be poked out to get it all apart.

Next put the two pieces together around where the microphone used to attach to the stand.

You should also place the plastic washers from the microphone on either side, ensuring that the notch lines up.

Next you can insert the whole assembly back into the stand. You will need to secure it again by screwing together the bolts. It might be difficult to slide it in so you may need to wiggle it a bit until they all go together.

If the microphone is a bit loose you might need to tighten it at the back.
